Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, mobile applications, and services provided by KDEP Enterprise, LLC ("KDEP," "we," "us"), a Florida-based limited-liability company. By using our products you agree to these Terms.


1. Eligibility

Our products — including CareerTryOut — are designed for users aged 14 and older. You may not use our services if you are under 14, or if applicable law would require parental consent that you cannot or do not provide. If you are between 14 and 17, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service in jurisdictions where that consent is required.

You sign in via a third-party identity provider (Google, Facebook, Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you use to sign in. You may sign out at any time, list and revoke individual devices, or delete your account permanently from within the app.

All career, mission, badge, and skill content within our applications is provided for educational and entertainment purposes. Game progress — including XP, badges, levels, and rankings — has no real-world monetary value, is not transferable between accounts, and may be reset at our discretion if we detect manipulation, exploitation of bugs, or other abuse.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, and game assets in our applications and on this website are owned by KDEP Enterprise, LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you control it.

7. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KDEP Enterprise, LLC, its members, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

You may stop using our services at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if doing so is necessary to protect the service or its users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice the next time you open the app or via email if we have your email on file.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
